Push-up Coach
An adaptive push-up coach: what to do today, how to do it well, and proof you're getting stronger.
Push-up Coach privacy policy
Effective October 14, 2026.
What the app collects
Nothing. Push-up Coach has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no internet permission, so it cannot send anything anywhere.
What stays on your phone
Your goal, training days, reminder settings and the equipment you have; optional “About you” details (age, sex, weight, activity level); your optional weight log; every set you log (reps, how they were counted, effort and any “Something hurts” report); and your settings. All of it is saved only in the app’s private storage on your device. You can clear “About you” and delete the weight log in Settings, and uninstalling the app deletes everything.
Sensors and voice
The proximity sensor is read only during a set, and only if you turn on sensor counting. The camera and microphone are not used. Voice cues use your phone’s own text-to-speech.
Exports and backups
History can export your sets as a file; it goes only where you choose to share it. Android may include the app’s data in your device backup if you have backup turned on; that is controlled by your phone’s settings.
Crash log and feedback
If the app ever crashes, a short log is kept on the device and is sent only if you tap Share log yourself. Send feedback opens your own mail app with a message to XT3 that includes the app version, Android version and phone model, and the crash log if there is one. It is sent only if you send it, and XT3 uses it only to answer you and fix the app.
Links that leave the app
Privacy policy, About and More from XT3 open xt3.us in your browser. Those pages are covered by the XT3 privacy policy.
Permissions
Notifications (reminders, if you allow them), vibration (haptic cues), and running at start-up so reminders survive a restart. Nothing else.
Health information
Push-up Coach is a general fitness app, not a medical device, and does not give medical advice. A “Something hurts” report is used only on your phone, to pause progression and suggest easier moves.
Children
Push-up Coach is meant for adults and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
