Fractional CTO services

A fractional CTOwho also does the work.

Most fractional CTOs advise. I decide what your business needs, then build or fix it and stay accountable for it: software, websites, integrations, hosting, automation, and AI. It’s built for owners whose technical department is one busy person, or themselves.

Sound familiar?

You probably need this if…

  • Several technical projects are half-finished and nobody owns all of them.
  • Your vendors each say the problem is in someone else’s system.
  • You’re about to sign a big software or development contract and can’t judge the proposal.
  • Key tools only keep working because one person knows the workarounds.

What you get

Decisions, delivery, and someone who stays.

Honestly, you don’t need me if

  • You need a full-time executive managing a large in-house engineering team.
  • You want someone to build every requested feature without asking why.
01

Technical decisions

What to build, buy, connect, fix, or leave alone, based on the business outcome rather than the newest tool.

02

Hands-on delivery

I write the code, configure the systems, and ship. You work directly with the person doing it.

03

Vendor and proposal review

A second opinion on quotes, contracts, and agency plans before you commit budget.

04

Ongoing ownership

Hosting, security basics, releases, fixes, and a prioritized improvement plan after launch.

Work behind the words

Built, shipped, and still running.

Questions

Straight answers.

What does a fractional CTO do?

Owns your technical decisions part-time and is accountable for the results. In my case that includes doing much of the work myself, not only advising.

What does it cost?

Ongoing partnerships typically run $10K–$20K per month. A focused first engagement is scoped and priced separately, before any work begins. The first call is free.

How is this different from an agency?

An agency usually builds what you ask for. I help decide what’s worth building first, across all your systems, and I stay responsible after launch.

Who owns the code and accounts?

You do. Accounts, code, and documentation are set up so your business controls them. The handover covers where things run, who has access, and how to stop or change them.
